A great product with the flexibility to be used all year. During the warmer months it provides outstanding cooling with its screened vents and during the colder months the vents provide an escape for moisture. The added screened box can be placed over the center hole creating a small controlled space to feed with dry sugar or fondant. The screen also creates a barrier for the bees preventing them from getting into any absorbent material, such as a burlap sack (sold separate), which helps insulate the hive and mitigates the moisture.
