The Imirie Shim was invented by the late George Imirie a master beekeeper from Maryland. The Imirie Shim has several different uses. The Imirie Shim can be used between honey supers to give bees an additional entrance during the honey flow. They can also used to add additional space for mite treatments and patty feeding or for extra ventilation. Imirie shims are ¾ inch thick with an entrance hole.
